  • Track and field teams finish UAAs on right foot

    The men’s and women’s track and field teams traveled to New York City last weekend to compete in the UAA Championships, hosted by New York University. The women’s team finished in sixth place of the seven teams in competition with 53 points, while the men claimed second with 177.

  • Track and field prepare for UAAs

    The men’s and women’s track and field teams recently had three major meets in preparation for the UAA Championships hosted by New York University on April 27 and 28: the Dave Labor Invitational at Slippery Rock for throwers, jumpers, and sprinters on April 13, the Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University on the April 13, and the Allegheny College Tri-Meet on the April 16.

  • Men's lacrosse tries for strong ending

    The Carnegie Mellon men’s lacrosse team, which has experienced numerous setbacks and difficulties this season, lost to University of Dayton last Saturday 18–1 at home. Still, the team is keeping its head up and hoping to finish Wednesday’s game against Grove City College — the last game of the season — on a high note.

    The main obstacle for this season has been a loss of experienced players.

  • Strong rounds for golf team

    The men’s golf team recently played in two tournaments: the Hershey Cup in Hershey, Pa., and the Edward Jones Shootout — hosted by Carnegie Mellon University — in Apollo, Pa. The team placed third at the Hershey Cup and fourth at the Edward Jones Shootout.
