Fire Alarm
Oct. 17, 2008
at 9:00 a.m.A West Wing resident called University Police when a fire alarm sounded in the building. The resident needed assistance to leave his room. University Police arrived on the scene and aided the resident. The Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire also arrived and quickly cleared the area.

The Heinz School of Public Policy and Management has undergone a transformation. The Heinz School has merged with the graduate School of Information Systems and Management to become the H. John Heinz III College.
The Heinz College will feature curricula that combine public policy, management, and technology.

Last Thursday, Chapelle’s Show came to Carnegie Mellon — part of it, at least. Bill Burr, a comedian for Chapelle’s Show, was this year’s first-ever Homecoming comedian.
