    [BOLD]Up ‘til Dawn raises donation funds[BOLD]

    Last Friday in the Skibo Gym, Up ‘til Dawn celebrated the end of its year-long letter-writing campaign for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

    The hospital is located in Memphis, Tenn., and was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas.

  • Men wear heels for awareness

    This Thursday, the students of Carnegie Mellon will be able to see a sight they don’t see every day: large groups of men walking around in high-heeled shoes from 5 to 6 p.m. which will take place Thursday on the Cut.

  • Ruckus media player lost users’ interests, advertisements, funding, sustainability

    College music services, such as Ruckus, were created in order to provide college students with the services that they wanted to listen to and watch.

    Ruckus wanted to offer a legal alternative to piracy for students at all campuses around the nation.

    Ruckus allowed students to stream and download an unlimited amount of music and share music with their schoolmates.

  • Study finds that lack of sleep may make students sicker

    The rapidly dropping temperature has brought out scarves, hats, and gloves, as well as the sniffles.

    Many students are actively trying not to catch the common cold, and while dressing warmly is important, new research conducted by Sheldon Cohen, a professor in the psychology department, shows that students may need to sleep more to fight off coughing and aching.

  • Hunt Library to be renovated

    Long hours of doing homework and studying for tests may soon be brightened up by future renovations of the Hunt Library. The layout for the renovations is still in the design and planning process, but those involved have high hopes to completely change the ambiance of the entire library.
