    University Police were summoned to take a report of an armed robbery. A student stated that while leaving a party on Wilkins Avenue, a black male in a silver sedan pulled alongside the sidewalk and offered the student a ride back to campus.   • Student Senate Meeting Minutes

    Arts pass program

    After a presentation from a member of the Student Activities office, the Senate discussed and voted upon funding for the Arts Pass program. Student Activities is now in its second year of collecting data on use of the Arts Pass program, and encouraged Student Senate to continue its funding. Student Senate voted to fund the Arts Pass program for $18,000.

  • Fire breaks out Wednesday night in Doherty Hall

    A fire broke out in the lower levels of Doherty Hall around 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.

    Fire engines and police cars were seen at the service road near the base of Doherty Hall and on Frew Street near Baker Hall.

    An intoxicated student was observed walking in the Greek Quad and Morewood Avenue area. University Police stopped the male and ensured that he would not need medical attention. The male was left with a friend and was cited for underage drinking.
