  • Unprecedented five CMU professors win Sloan fellowship

    This past Thursday, Carnegie Mellon announced that five faculty members had been awarded the prestigious Sloan Research Fellowship. Sloan Foundation president Adam Falk, via a Carnegie Mellon press release, described fellows as “the brightest minds, tackling the hardest problems, and succeeding brilliantly — fellows are quite literally the future of 21st century science.”

  • AB brings in Casey Neistat for Geek Week talk

  • Measles case is no cause for alarm if properly vaccinated

    Feb. 9 marked a very surprising day for many Carnegie Mellon students and faculty, as an email was sent by University Health Services confirming that a graduate student was found to have measles, a highly contagious viral infection that is usually preventable by vaccination.
