  • Cross country teams place high at Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble

    Both the men’s and the women’s cross country teams at Carnegie Mellon traveled to Oberlin College in in Oberlin, Ohio to compete in the cross country Inter-Regional Rumble. The two teams emerged successful, with the women finishing fifth out of 24 teams, and with the men placing third out of 31 teams. The men’s team is currently ranked 13th in the country.

  • Cross country teams emerge victorious

    After last week’s break from competition, the cross country team is back, yielding impressive results. Last Saturday, it hosted the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in local Schenley Park. The women’s team took on a 5k, and triumphed with a second-place finish out of 24 teams. The men also turned out a second-place finish in an 8k run, defeating 22 teams.

  • Volleyball hosts Crossover Tournament, finishes weekend 3–1

    The Carnegie Mellon women's volleyball team hosted the Crossover Tournament last weekend, competing against Trine University, John Carroll University, Allegheny College, and Johns Hopkins University. The Tartans finished with a record of 3–1, defeating Trine, Allegheny, and Johns Hopkins, and moved to 7–5 overall.

  • Cross country places 1st, 2nd at Waynesburg College Invitational

    Last Saturday, the Carnegie Mellon cross country team had their second meet of the season, competing in the Waynesburg College Invitational. The men’s team competed in an 8k, placing first out of 10 teams, while the women raced a 6k, placing second out of 12.
