  • Distance dominates Jim Wuske Invite

    Carnegie Mellon’s track and field team competed in the Jim Wuske Invitational this past Saturday, hosted by Mount Union College. With an abundance of teams to take on, the Tartans rose to the top, with many finishing in the top five in their respective events.

  • Track and field competes at Case Western

    This past Saturday, the Carnegie Mellon track and field team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, to compete against Case Western Reserve University.
    The men’s team came home with another victory under its belt, beating the Spartans with a final score of 80–47. The women’s team did not fare as well, losing to Case with a final score of 79–47.

  • Track and field team starts off on right foot

    The Carnegie Mellon track and field team kicked off its indoor season with a tri-meet, traveling to Denison College. There, the team faced the host Big Red as well as Washington & Jefferson College. The men took home nine wins, while the women grabbed seven of their own.

  • Cross country competes at NCAAs in Iowa

    The season for Carnegie Mellon men’s and women’s cross country teams came to an exciting close last Saturday. The Tartans competed at the NCAA Division III Championships in Waverly, Iowa, hosted by Wartburg College. For the men, this was the team’s sixth time attending nationals. They took 20th overall, just four points behind the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges.

  • Cross country at UAAs

    The cross country team competed in the University Athletic Association Championships in New York, N.Y. last Saturday. The Tartan men came in third out of eight teams, finishing 24 points behind host New York University. The women came in seventh overall, finishing 18 points behind Brandeis University.
