  • Cross country runs at Dickinson

    On Saturday, the Carnegie Mellon cross country team made a trip to the Long-Short Invitational hosted by Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. The men’s team competed in both an 8k and a 4k, taking home fifth and third place, respectively. The women competed in a 6k and a 4k race, coming in sixth in the 6k. With only three runners competing, they placed 14th in the 4k.

  • Cross country competes in Mack Cooper Invitational

    Carnegie Mellon's cross country team traveled to Slippery Rock, Pa., for the Mack Cooper Invitational at Cooper’s Lake Campground Friday night. The men’s team took first place while the women’s team finished fourth, both out of six teams. The men won by just three points.

  • Cross country competes in the Duquesne Duals

    After the first week of school, Carnegie Mellon’s cross country team participated in the Duquesne Duals in Schenley Park. Athletes from Duquesne University, Youngstown State University, Saint Vincent College, Niagara University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Canisus College competed against the Tartans.   • Track and field finish at the top

    This past weekend, Carnegie Mellon’s track and field team took a trip to Lexington, Va. to compete in the two-day VMI Carnival hosted by Washington and Lee University. Several Division III track and field programs attended the Carnival, including fellow UAA competitors Case Western Reserve University and Rochester University.

  • Track and field team finishes strong again

    This past Saturday, Carnegie Mellon’s track and field team continued its season by participating in Bucknell University’s Winter Classic. Teams from all divisions participated, and the Tartans managed to rise to the top.
