    Though I had intended my last Op/Ed in The Tartan to be a congratulatory note to Sí Señor for adopting a spotty yet delicious vegetarian menu of seitan and tofurky, Friday’s message to the campus community eschewing the screening of pornographic films by the Activities Board provided me with something that is more substantial to discuss.

  • Get In Line games provide research data

    This year at Carnival, waiting in lines turned into a main event. Get In Line, a student-sponsored project out of Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center, used Carnival to test a series of gameplay experiences for people waiting in last weekend’s most daunting lines and crowds.

    The Tartan’s Editorial Board, in its Feb. 2 statement of support for The Weekly Slant has, in its haste to congratulate it for merely existing, turned a blind eye to the newsletter’s obvious lack of journalistic standards, unfounded accusations and implications, and anonymous editorial staff-of-one.
