Four females were spotted on the roof of Clyde House. The Carnegie Mellon students were safely removed from the roof and were advised that University policy forbids them from accessing the roof.

A student reported that his bicycle was taken from the bicycle racks outside of the Margaret Morrison storefronts. An investigation is ongoing.

A student reported that her bicycle was taken from the bicycle racks outside of the Morewood Gardens. An investigation is ongoing.
Burglary
Sept. 25, 2017
A student reported that a receiver was stolen from his laptop which was inside his room in Stever House. An investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 26, 2017
An Au Bon Pain employee reported that a large amount of money was stolen from the restaurant. An investigation is ongoing.
Theft of Bicycle
Sept. 28, 2017
A student reported that her bicycle was taken from within the Resnik Cafe. The bicycle had been left in the premises, unsecured between Friday Sept. 22, and Saturday, Sept. 23. An investigation is ongoing.
Terroristic Threats
Sept. 29, 2017
A Carnegie Mellon Staff Member was the victim of a road rage incident that began at Fifth and Morewood Avenues, and ended at Forbes and Morewood Avenues. The staff member reported that an unknown person drove into the travel lane without regard to the cyclist. The driver yelled at her and lifted his shirt, displaying a pistol that was holstered on his hip. CMU Police are assisting the Pittsburgh Police with this investigation.
Disorderly Conduct
Sept. 30, 2017
University Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that traveled through a steady red signal on Forbes Avenue. Upon speaking with the driver, an odor of marijuana was smelled coming from from the vehicle. The driver admitted he possessed a small amount of marijuana, which was subsequently seized. The driver was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
