  • Professor Morgan and Klatzky have been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

    Roberta Klatzky, the Charles J. Queenan Professor of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon, and M. Granger Morgan, the University and Hamerschlag Professor of Engineering, have been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. They will now join 22 other Carnegie Mellon members also elected to the Academy.

    Dining Services has recently announced two new search features on the Dining Services website which will allow students and community members to more easily search for soups and daily specials offered at dining locations throughout Carnegie Mellon.

    A University Police Officer observed a vehicle driving at a high speed on South Neville Street. The officer conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and saw that the driver was intoxicated. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI and other vehicle code violations.

  • New UPLift Challenge will influence campus culture with enhanced infrastructure

    Provost Farnam Jahanian recently announced the Task Force on the CMU Experience’s newest mission: the UPLift challenege. This challenge, which promotes the importance of university placemaking at Carnegie Mellon, allows students, faculty, and staff members to submit ideas to temporarily enhance campus infrastructure to create a more supportive and engaging environment.
