CMU increases tuition by 3.2% for current students
To start off the 2016 spring semester, Carnegie Mellon students received an email notifying them that the tuition rates for the 2016-2017 academic year and beyond (until further notice) were recently approved by the Board of Trustees. It was announced that undergraduate tuition has been increased by 3.2 percent.

Winnipeg – Five people were killed and two were injured in a mass shooting in La Loche community school in Canada. Mass shootings are rare in Canada due to their stricter gun laws when compared to those of the U.S. Police have taken the suspect into custody.

Pittsburgh Health Association holds free STI testing at CMU
Last Friday, free sexually transmitted infection (STI) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) testing was held in Rangos Ballroom for Carnegie Mellon University students. The event came days after World AIDS Day, which was last Tuesday, Dec. 1, adding to many events being held around the world to bolster the fight against AIDS.
