Suspicious Person

University Police responded to a call for a suspicious person who was trying to enter 411 S. Craig St. The male said he needed to talk to someone, but didn’t know who. When officers arrived, he said he needed to talk to someone about God. He was advised that Carnegie Mellon is private property and was asked not to return.

Insider trader tells students his story
A man convicted of insider trading warned Tepper School of Business students in a video conference on Tuesday not to make the same mistakes he did.
Garrett Bauer, a proprietary trader, pled guilty to insider trading in December 2011. Bauer was the “tippee,” as he put it: The person who trades on secrets given to him by an insider.

University Police responded to S. Craig Street for a report of a scruffy white male who was photographing people without consent. The male had been photographing people while on a public street, and there was no violation of a law. The male was gone upon officers’ arrival.

Budget deficit threatens bus service
This year, proposed Port Authority service cuts could affect many Carnegie Mellon students and others affiliated with the university.
