  • Students express excitement over Chipotle's opening on Forbes

    On Thursday, April 13, it finally happened. The new Chipotle Mexican Grill opened on Forbes Avenue next to Craig Street. After months of watching the construction, the students of Carnegie Mellon University now have a Chipotle restaurant all to themselves (of course students of other colleges are always welcome).

  • Women's Tennis overcomes foes to earn thirteenth win

    The 12th-ranked Carnegie Mellon women’s tennis team rallied against 17th-ranked University of Mary Washington on Saturday, April 8, at home to win 5–4. The Tartans moved to 13–6 for the season while the Eagles dropped to 16–4 for the year.

  • The Yard

    Pittsburgh is a beautiful city, full of history and culture — art, technology, sports, and of course, food. If I were to use a restaurant to epitomize my experience in Pittsburgh and at Carnegie Mellon so far, it would be The Yard. It is what I have come to expect from the city.

  • Kiersten Chuc earns record as Tartans take Quad Meet

    The Carnegie Mellon women’s track and field team hosted its annual Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet on Saturday, April 1 and placed first with 219 points. Penn State Behrend finished second with 157 points followed by Westminster College and Saint Vincent College with 132 points and 41 points, respectively.

  • Students value open dialogue on race at State of the University

    University students and faculty members engaged in an open discussion about their experiences with race issues last Tuesday, Feb. 28, at State of the University: Race at CMU. The discussion was organized by housing community advisors and the Office of Residential Education.
