Swim and dive at NCAAs
Carnegie Mellon was represented by one swimmer and one diver for the women’s swimming and diving teams and five swimmers for the men’s swimming team at the 2008 NCAA Division III championships March 13–15. The meet, hosted by the College of Wooster, was held at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Swimming performs well in UAA championship
This past weekend, the Tartan men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams traveled to Rochester, N.Y. for this year’s University Athletic Association (UAA) championship meet. The three-day meet ended with the Carnegie Mellon men in second place following Emory University. The women finished in fourth place behind Emory University, Washington University in St. Louis, and New York University.

Swimming and diving finishes dual meets 7–1
The Carnegie Mellon swimming and diving teams finished their dual meet season with a win at Westminster College, improving their record to 7–1. The women’s team won seven of the events, ending with a score of 108–95, while the men won seven events with a 115–88 score.
