  • Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

I can’t remember my first encounter with J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. Somehow, Harry Potter has always been a part of my life. I’d read the books diligently and I’d watch the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, on repeat. I felt an instant connection to the Ravenclaw house and knew I belonged there even before I was sorted into it. Watching the midnight premiere of Harry Potter a...

  • An Open Letter to Marvel

    Dear Marvel,

Congrats. Unsurprisingly, your new film, Doctor Strange, is great. I *love* this movie. I love its trippy art style, its classic Marvel humor, and its heart. You also somehow managed not to create a terribly-written villain (as you usually do), and your movie has already made over $500 MILLION. Obviously, that’s a lot of money.

  • Denzel Curry

I've never loved rap music. Hip Hop and Rap was never really my thing in high school. But when Carol City, Florida-based rapper Denzel Curry brought the house down at the Cohon Center's Studio Theater Saturday, Oct. 15 to a sweaty, capped room of 200 students, I completely changed my mind. Throughout the night, Denzel Curry brought the crowd on a wave of non-stop energy, lighting up the crowd with...
