  • Women’s soccer defeats Case, loses to Rochester

    The Tartans split a pair of University Athletic Association (UAA) games this past weekend as they took on Case Western Reserve University on Friday night and the University of Rochester on Sunday afternoon. The Tartans defeated Case 1–0 and dropped a hard-fought 2–1 decision against the Yellowjackets. The games move the Tartans to 7–7–1 on the season and 2–4 in the UAA.

  • Volleyball primed for a strong UAA finish

    With two wins last Saturday at the Waynesburg College Quad Tournament, the Carnegie Mellon women’s volleyball team improved its record to 18–12 heading into the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships. The championships will be held at Carnegie Mellon on Friday and Saturday.

  • Tartan women’s soccer beats NYU Violets 2–1

    The Carnegie Mellon women’s soccer team traveled to Waltham, Mass., and New York City this past weekend to play Brandeis and New York University (NYU) in University Athletic Association (UAA) action. The Tartans fell 2–1 at the hands of Brandeis on Friday night, but regrouped to edge NYU 2–1 Sunday afternoon.

  • Men’s soccer loses its first UAA game 1–0

    The Carnegie Mellon men’s soccer team lost its first University Athletic Association (UAA) game of the season on Sunday afternoon against New York University (NYU) by a score of 1–0.

    Earlier in the road trip, the Tartans defeated Brandeis University 2–0 in another UAA contest.

  • Carnegie Mellon men’s soccer team takes back-to-back victories

    The Carnegie Mellon men’s soccer team wrapped up another undefeated week of soccer by defeating the Point Park Pioneers and the Washington (Mo.) University Bears at Gesling Stadium.
