  • Volleyball defeats Geneva College 3–0 at home

    The Carnegie Mellon volleyball team prepared for its second University Athletic Association (UAA) round robin, coming up this weekend, with a home match versus Geneva College Thursday.

    The Tartans came away with a 3–0 victory with game scores of 25–22, 25–19, and 25–23. After the team’s slow start to the season, the Tartans have improved their record to 14–11 overall and 2–1 in the UAA.

  • Volleyball commences UAA play, goes 2–1

    The Carnegie Mellon volleyball team began conference play this past weekend as the host of the first University Athletic Association (UAA) round robin of the season.
    The Tartans continued their streak Saturday with a victory over Case Western Reserve University in a quick three games, setting the tone for the match in their first game, winning 25–8.

    After a disappointing mid-week loss to the Point Park University Pioneers, the Carnegie Mellon volleyball team turned its season around at its home tournament last weekend with wins against John Carroll University and Otterbein and Mount Union colleges.
