    The Pittsburgh Penguins are hot, even after a recent streak of three bad games. Before the three losses, the Pens won six in a row, beating tough, potential playoff teams like the Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Penguins put up four or more goals in five of those six wins and looked as dominant as they ever have.

  • Tartans send seniors off with Case Western victory

    The Carnegie Mellon University men’s basketball team ended its season on a high note with a big 72–63 win against their University Athletic Association (UAA) rivals, the Case Western Reserve University Spartans. The Tartans finish the season going 7–18 and 3–11 in conference play. After the Spartans’ loss, they finished with a 12–13 record, going 6–8 in conference.

They’ll watch it all, and for a while, when I was a little kid, I really didn’t understand the appeal of watching a bunch of athletes that nobody had ever heard of play sports (how do you just become a ski jumper or a curler? Where do they even find people for that?)
