Beta responds to suspension, allegations
As part of a continuing investigation into the recent suspension of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity on campus, official statements from the local chapter and national organization of Beta Theta Pi have been released.
It was also confirmed that the Carnegie Mellon University Andrew distribution list was utilized for the alleged circulation of explicit materials

University Police were summoned to take a report of an armed robbery. A student stated that while leaving a party on Wilkins Avenue, a black male in a silver sedan pulled alongside the sidewalk and offered the student a ride back to campus. Student Senate Meeting Minutes
Arts pass program
After a presentation from a member of the Student Activities office, the Senate discussed and voted upon funding for the Arts Pass program. Student Activities is now in its second year of collecting data on use of the Arts Pass program, and encouraged Student Senate to continue its funding. Fire breaks out Wednesday night in Doherty Hall
A fire broke out in the lower levels of Doherty Hall around 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Student Senate is in contact with administrators in an attempt to integrate more students onto The Bridge. This system will then be used to help organize the poster policy, with students being able to upload an image of their poster and receive the date by which they must take it down.
