A Stever House resident reported his bag stolen from the first-floor lobby. He had left it on a table and returned to find it missing.
Suspicious Person Aug. 19, 2008 at 12:23 a.m.
A white male in drag wearing a pink top and jeans was walking from Morewood Gardens toward the Greek Quadrangle. A student called University Police reporting his suspicions. The actor was heading down Morewood Avenue toward Fifth Avenue when University Police told him to leave campus.
Noise Complaint Aug. 19, 2008 at 1:14 a.m.
A Morewood Gardens resident reported excessive noise coming from the front of the building on Morewood Avenue. The resident believed a woman was screaming but did not know why. When University Police arrived, the woman had left.
Theft Aug. 19, 2008 at 4:43 p.m.
A Carnegie Mellon employee called University Police reporting copper stolen off the roof of Wean Hall. He believed ithe theft to have happened at night but did not know who had done it.
Theft Aug. 19, 2008 at 5:23 p.m.
A Carnegie Mellon student reported his wallet stolen out of his car parked on Greenfield Avenue. He filed a report with the city and informed University Police that his Carnegie Mellon ID was in his wallet and has also been removed.
Fire Alarm Aug. 20, 2008 at 1:26 a.m.
A fire alarm sounded in the Kappa Delta Rho house on the Greek Quadrangle. University Police arrived on the scene and found students smoking cigars under a smoke detector. They reset the alarm.
Noise Complaint Aug. 20, 2008 at 1:43 a.m.
A Morewood Gardens resident reported excessive noise and loud music coming from the Greek Quadrangle. University Police told a group there to quiet down.
Vandalism Aug. 23, 2008 at 2:32 p.m.
A Carnegie Mellon employee reported a three-foot light post knocked off its base at the Collaborative Innovation Center. University Police notified Facilities Management Services to come clean up the scene.
