Today, the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, refocuses our attention on the lives lost on that fateful day. The following is a reflection upon the lives of those we mourn:

Percentage of Americans that say they have experienced depression related to the 9/11 attacks: 70
Number of countries that lost citizens on 9/11: 90
Number of New York City firefighters that died on 9/11: 343
Children who lost a parent on 9/11: 2000

Hours spent removing debris at the World Trade Center site: 1.5 million
